About Bhoomi
JSW Bhoomi is a social initiative that aims to utilize our existing resources and infrastructure to harvest the goodness our Earth has to offer.
Under Bhoomi, we nurture and grow local produce at our various JSW Energy plant locations across the nation e.g. Alphonso at Ratnagiri, Olive tea at Barmer to name a few.
These produce are grown in a natural and chemical-free manner that preserves the goodness and nutrition they offer.
Bhoomi aims to upkeep non-farm developmental activities and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to the communities around our various plant locations as well which would be take definite shape in the nearest future.
Our Products
Our various plants have been growing local produces without any additives or non-organic interventions. This effort has allowed us to present some excellent consumable products both rich in quality and nutrition. These products include Olive leaf tea from Barmer, Rajma from Sholtu in Himachal Pradesh, Alphonso Mangoes from Ratnagiri just to name a few.
We will soon bring aboard products from non-farm developmental activities. One such range of products would be based on handicraft skills of the women in the project villages around Barmer. This intervention will help the artisans to cater to a larger buyer markets that will optimally enhance their earnings.

Ratnagiri Hapus – The king of mangoes!
The Alphonso Mangoes, better known as ‘Hapus’ in Maharashtra, are one of the most popular fruits across the world. A fruit that we’ve all savoured since childhood!
Ratnagiri is world-renowned for producing the best quality of Alphonso mangoes. At the JSW Energy, Ratnagiri plant premises, we have been producing the same top-quality mangoes in around 9753 mango trees spread across a total area of 220 acres.
Our mangoes are organically grown and ripened naturally, free of carbide and chemicals which makes them even more delicious and healthy! They have rich, creamy, tender texture and delicate, non-fibrous, juicy pulp certain to please everyone’s taste buds!

Olive Tea
Olive is considered as one of the most sacred trees since ancient times as it possesses a treasure of multiple health benefits.
With over 4000 Olive trees planted in the premises of JSW Energy Barmer in Rajasthan, we had the opportunity to benefit from the nutrient-rich Olive leaves. That’s how Olive leaf tea was conceived.
Olive leaf tea contains a higher volume of antioxidants and vitamin C that provides the body with unbelievable health benefits, like boosting immunity and reducing the risk of many degenerative and chronic illnesses. It is a remarkable source of body detoxification.
